These Dishes are Recommended for Indoor use Only and are Not Food Safe.
Recommended to keep at room temperature and away from water.
Each Dish Starts out as a piece of 3mm sheet, cut into a circle and the edges sanded to take off the sharp edge. It is next heated in the Forge until it reaches a glowing yellow Heat, and then Hand Stamped with the J.R.R Artist Blacksmith Makers Mark.
The Dish is Heated in the Forge a few more times and is gently Formed into its final Dished shape, while creating its gorgeous Fire Scale texture.
These Forged Dishes are then Wire Brushed to remove the soft scale created in the Fire, leaving a shining mix of bare metal and hard scale texture.
The Dishes are treated with several layers or clear lacquer Giving them an attractive shine & to help protect them from oxidisation and rust.

I can Hand Stamp your message onto Your Steel Dish using individual metal letter and number stamps, Keep it simple with loved ones Names, or a special calendar Date, or add a personal message, poem, or line from a book.
